We all know the author's purpose was to get money from writing this, or maybe to get fame that everyone talks about how smart the author is, or maybe the author wanted to answer someone's question.
The hard part is trying to figure out which one the author had as a purpose.
(Even though we know the author probably wanted money, a different answer might be what the teacher is looking for)
