cosb+sinb*tanb=secb

take LHS first
cosb+sinb*sinb/cosb----------tanb=sinb/cosb
cosb+(sinb)^2/cosb
[cos^2b+sin^2b]/cosb
1/cosb=secb    -------------- cos^2b+sin^2b=1
LHS=RHS
