Rick has sugar 1 1/3 pound simplify it so u will get 4/3 sugar

And he has 2/3 pound of flour  .

He need 1/4 for each thing to pour into bowl so for sugar 1/4 of 4/3 is 1/4*4/3 =1/3

1/4 of flour is 1/4*2/3=1/6
