You use 4 gallons of water on 30 plants in your garden. At that rate, how much water will it take to water 45 plants?

6 gallons since the gallons of water is divided by too since the initial value added 1/2 so the number of gallons is divided by too and added to the original amount of gallons so i believe your answer will be 6 gallons

Let 'x' represent the water in gallons used to water 45 plants


4 : 30 = x : 45

........  x = 6 gal


It takes 6 gallons of water to water 45 plants
