[tex]y=ab^x[/tex]

we got
[tex]3=ab^1[/tex] and
[tex]20=ab^2[/tex]

divide 2nd equation by first
20/3=(ab^2)/(ab)
20/3=b

sub back

[tex]3=a \frac{20}{3}^1 [/tex]
times both sides by 3/20
9/20=a

[tex]y= (\frac{9}{20} )( \frac{20}{3})^x [/tex]
