(3/4)/(1/8)=(3/4)*(8/1)

dividing is the same as multiplying by it's reciprocal 
multiplying is the same as dividing by it's reciprocal. 

reciprocal is the fraction flipped. 

(e.g. 3/4 -> 4/3... 1/2 -> 2/1) 


3/4 divided by 1/8 

= 3/4 times 8/1 

= 24/4 

= 6
