The heavy rain has caused a lot of problems in our town. The storm drains are clogged with debris, and the roads are flooded. The water is so high that it has reached the porches of some houses. The fire department has put up barriers for safety. There have been many accidents because of this rain. People should be careful when driving in these conditions, especially on the highways where there are no barriers to protect them from cars hydroplaning.
