Well if one minute is 60 seconds then 60x3 is 180. Then I would divide 180 by 15 and that would equal 12. It would flash 12 times in 3 minutes.

Lightning flashes every 15 seconds and there’s four 15 seconds in one minute. So in a minute lightning strikes 4 times then you multiply the 4 times 3 minutes and you get 12.
