Talk to people early in their careers in fd and find out how their lives are and how easy or hard it is to find jobs.
Really evaluate your passion. What I've seen on shows like project runway are people who are constantly thinking about fd, sketching ideas, creating new items. Are you doing this? If you aren't, why not and what does that say?
