If 60% of a number is 18 what is 90% of the number

x = the missing #
60% is the same as 0.6
0.6x=18
divide 18 by 0.6
18/0.6=30
18 is 60% of 30
to find 90% of 30, multiply 30 by 0.9
30x0.9=27
