Slope is also known as rise/run, and looking at the graph we can find two clear points and use this.
(2, -3) and (-3, 1)
To get from (2, -3) to (-3, 1), we go up 4 (4) and left 5 (-5). Your slope is [tex]\frac{-4}{5}[/tex].
