A line is parallel to y=4x-2 and intersects the point (5,11). What is the equation of this parallel line?

It has the same x as it is parallel so 4x will be in the equation
Substitute x and y of (5,11) into y = mx + c equation to get : 11 = 5(4) + c
11 = 20 + c
c = -9
y = 4x - 9
