Respuesta :
The reason the American Revolutionary War broke out was because Britain's tax policy was exploitative of the American colonies. When the American colonies won this war, they were then able to make their own decisions which led to the creation of the U.S. Constitution.
When Britain was the government of the American colonies:
- They imposed several taxes on the colonies in order to make more profit from them
- They refused to listen to the grievances of the colonies in relation to the heavy burden of the taxes
- They refused to allow the American colonies to have representation in the British Parliament
This led to the Revolutionary War because the American colonists were tired of being mistreated and when the colonists won, they were able to make their own laws as they were now independent and this was why they were able to create and ratify the Constitution.
In conclusion, Britain was exploitative and the Americans went to war to stop it and gain independence.
