The equation for finding the slope is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
So if we take the two points and liable one point 1 and the other two we get:
1: (0,8)
x1 = 0
y1 = 8
2: (-2,8)
x2 = -2
y2 = 8
Therefore:
(8-8)/(-2-0) = 0/-2 = 0
We can Check that this makes sense by plotting them on a graph and seeing that they are horizontal from one another because the y-value doesn’t change.
