2(y + x + 14) = 14 + 2x

2(y) + 2(x) + 2(14) = 14 + 2x

2y + 2x + 28 = 14 + 2x

2y + 2x - 2x = 14 - 28

2y = -14

2y / 2 = -14 / 2

y = -7
