Why does an author include multiple themes in a text? (1 paragraph)

I'm not going to write a paragraph, as my writing skills are poor, but here are a few ideas:
- Authors may not intentionally make multiple themes, some themes grow on their own
- Life isn't about just one thing, multiple things occur in life at once
- Some situations can convey more than one theme

More than one situation can happen during the story so there can be many twists in it. It can go from suspenseful to nothing at all happens next.
