Let n be a number

Math translation:
• The sum of a number and 81 is (n + 81)
• The product of -3 and that number is -3n
• (n + 81) is greater than (-3n) is translated as n + 81 > -3n

Solving for n:
n + 81 > -3n
n - n + 81 > -3n - n (Subtract n on both sides)
81 > -4n
81/4 > (-4/4)n (Divide by 4 on both sides)
81/4 > -n
-81/4 < n (Transfer the negative sign on the other side and change the inequality sign)
n > -81/4

Hope this helps.
