Answer:

first we have to solve for x in order to find the value of y

2x+8=5x+14

5x-2x=14-8

3x=6

x=2

placing the x value in these two equation to find the value of y

y=2(2)+8

y=12

y=5(2)+14

y=24

now those are the two values of y
