2.5x

Add that to the points he got for signing up:

2.5x + 35

This needs to equal the total points needed:

2.5x + 35 = 70

Solve for x:

Subtract 35 from both sides:

2.5x = 35

Divide both sides by 2.5:

X = 14

He needs 14 visits

He needs 14 total visits to get to 70
