Y=Mx+c

Mx is slope = y2-y1/x2-x1 = -7+4/8+4= -3/12= -1/4

Now replace one of the points to find C or y-intercept

-4=-1/4(-4)+c

-4-1=c
C=-5

Final answer =

Y= -1/4x-5
