I would consider Rakest and his grandfather to be nature lovers because when they planted the tree they became attached by watching it grow so they fell in love

yes, because his grandfather read stories too him from the newspapers, and He sowed the cherry and looked after into till it grew into a big tree.

so it makes since that he liked nature or would'nt have helped grow the cherry tree.
