so it is (x,y) just subsitute the values and see which wones check so
equation=y=14-5x
tr the first one
(1,9)
put in 1 for x and 9 for y
9=14-5(1)
9=14-5
9=9
the first one checks

2,18
subsitute 2 for x and 18 for y
18=14-5(2)
18=14-10
18=4
not correct so the second one is wrong

2,4
subsitute 2 for x and 4 for y
4=14-5(2)
4=14-10
4=4
correct so the third one is on the line
