What is the slope of a line that passes through the points (1 , 5) and (-1 , 3)?

The slope formula is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
y2=3
y1=5
x2=-1
x1=1

Now let’s replace the numbers on the formula.
3-5/-1-1=-2/-2=1 the slope is 1
