So basically writing a short story can mean 1 paragraph or 4 paragraphs depends how your teacher wants it.
One paragraph:
A summary. It is going to sum up everything you have to write about in 5-8 sentences.
4 Paragraphs:
This is more of a story. Put more detail in this and again 5-8 sentences.
