Ishag can read a 250 page book in 5 hours. The equation I set up was 50x = 250. The variable “x” represent pages per hour, and Ishag can read 50 pages per hour. You will then need to isolate x by dividing both side of the equation by 50. This will then give you x=5 because 250/50 is 5, making the answer 5 hours.
