Answer:

[tex]a = \pi {r}^{2} [/tex]

The radius is half of the diameter. Therefore the radius is 23÷2 = 11.5.

[tex]a = 3.14 \times {11.5}^{2} [/tex]

[tex]a = 3.14 \times 132.25 \\ = 415.265[/tex]

To the nearest tenth = 415.3
