graph paper can be effectively used to measure the area of irregular objects...... because the graph consists of small units of 1 into 1 cm.. if an irregular object is kept And drawn over the graph then you can consider those 1 into 1 unit boxes for calculating the surface area. moreover find the thickness of the object then we can find the volume too
