An argument is the reason or set of reasons that constitute the evidence on which a person draws a conclusion. Thus, any person who tries to convince another or others about her position will use a series of arguments to try to persuade his or her audience. Without logical and verifiable argumentation, every statement made by people lacks support, so it loses its dissuasive character in front of the audience.
