It is expressed as;

     k.e  = [tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex] m v²  

m is the mass

v is the velocity

  So;

             270  =  [tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex] x 6 x v²

               270 = 3v²

                 v² = 90

                 v = 9.5m/s
