Cortes was able to defeat the Aztecs because of his warfare and the skills that they were able to improve back when they defeated the Moores
Hernan Cortez, was able to conquer the Aztec by scareing them , some of the things he used include, horses, better weapons (such as guns,ect) and they had more protection than the Aztec.
