I would personally say this:
"Let's say someone has been using social media at a young age. They'll see different types of people. Different races, hair styles, etc. This can shape a person perception of beauty. An example would be how parents raise their children. If a parent raises a child to believe magic exists, they'll believe it and grow to like magic because they were raised that way."
I'm not good at essays, so maybe use this for ideas?
