Solve for this equation for r:

r+2s/2=6+t

r+2s/2=6+t
r+s=6+t (Divide 2s by 2 giving you just 2)
r=6+t-s (subtract s from both sides positive s and negative s cancel out leaving                         only r on the left and negative s on the right.)
