Answer: the x intercept is -5  and the  y intercept is 25.

The x intercept is when y is zero and the  y intercept is when x is zero.So input zero into the  expression and solve for y.

-1(0)^2 + 25 = 25 so the y intercept is 25.

0=-x^2 +25  

 -25      -25

-25 = -x^2

x^2 = 25

x = -5   or 5
