As per the law of electrostatics, two positive or negative charge repel each other while two opposite charge attract each other.
In this case, a positively charged object is placed to the left of a negatively charged object. It would mean that the positive charge move in the direction of negative charge, so as to attract each other.
Hence, the positively charged object will move to the right.
