speed = distance over time; 1 mile = 1609 meters

all you must do is [tex] \frac{100}{11} [/tex]
that equals 9.09 repeating. round and you'll get 9m/second

100m= 0.621371 miles 11 seconds = 0.0030556 hours So with the significant digits the answer would be 20.3 miles/hour..
