Would assume:

f(n + 1) = f(n) - 2

f(2) = f(1 + 1) = f(1) - 2 = 18 - 2 = 16

f(3) = f(2 + 1) = f(2) - 2 = 16 - 2 = 14

f(4) = f(3 + 1) = f(3) - 2 = 14 - 2 = 12

f(5) = f(4 + 1) = f(4) - 2 = 12 - 2 = 10

f(5) = 10
