Well there are many ways excessive alcohol use can lead to death like, alcohol poisoning, many chronic diseases (alcoholic liver disease, cancer, stroke, pancreatitis and more), car crashes and pretty much any of the stupid decisions they make while drunk, especially if Pete was already crazy at 42 beers.
