Mitosis is a cell division method where the unicellular organisms such as amoeba, carries out the process of reproduction (asexual reproduction). This type of cell division process helps in the growth, betterment and development of the cells in the case of multicellular organisms.

During the time of mitosis cell division, a eukaryotic cell can produce two daughter cells that are genetically identical to each other.
