Choice 1. 9 square meters is the area.

Because both of the triangles are the same you would just find the area of one and multiply the answer by two. To find the area of a triangle find the width and length and multiply, then divide by two.

Both triangles has a length and width of 3. Multiply. 3*3= 9 then divide by 2 so that you get 4.5. The area of one triangle is 4.5, then multiply by 2 so that you get the area of both triangles. 4.5*2= 9.
