Initial kinetic energy, Ki = 1/2 mu² = 0

Final kinetic energy, Kf = 1/2 mv² = 0.5 m x 30 x 30 = 450 m

Specific energy change = change in kinetic energy per unit mass

                                         = 450 m / m = 450 J/kg = 0.45 kJ/kg
