Ok first find the common denominator of all of them. The LCD is 10 so multiply 1/5(2) and I got 2/10. Then 1/2(5) is 5/10. Now the equation is 1/10 + 2/10 + 5/10. Keep in mind 2/10 is still 1/5 and 5/10 is still 1/2. Now, add and we got 8/10. 8/10 simplifies to 4/5, so 1/10+1/5+1/2= 4/5. :)
