(-7 + 3) - (2-6)

pretend that there is 1 in front of the first bracket

pretend that there is a -1 in front of the second bracket

1(-7+3)-1(2-6)

mutiply the first bracket by 1

(1)(-7)= -7

(1)(3)= 3

mutiply the second bracket by -1

(-1)(2)=-2

(-1)(-6)= 6

-7+3-2+6

-4+4
