The political party convention runs in 4 days where they check the delegations, endorsing rules, election of convention officers and adoption of the platform. This happens for the first 2 days while the third day would be spent on balloting. The fourth day would be for the nomination and acceptance. This is where the nominees give their acceptance speech.
