well, let's see, let's start off with the seconds then minutes and lastly degrees.

seconds

38" + 44" = 82" , but since 60" is 1', 82" is really 1' and 22"

minutes

29' + 39' = 68' , now, let's add the 1' and 22" to that, that'd make it 69' and 22", but we know that 60' is 1°, so 69' and 22" is really 1° 9' and 22".

degrees

57° + 16° = 73° , and now let's add the 1° 9' 22", that'd make it 74° 9' 22".
