Piano

Explanation:

Although the piano does use strings within the organs that make sound, the piano is considered a percussion.  When you press down a key, a mallet hits the string, making a sound that is distinct to the piano.  I love studying this instrument because of how complex it is, yet it also is super easy to play to an extent.
