How did caesar's soldiers perform under his leadership

Caesar's soldiers performed better under his leadership. Largely due to his great leadership skills which were shown in multiple battles and on numerous occasions. Other, newer, generals and commanders rarely had shown the level of ability that Caesar had shown.
