Can someone please explain how converting from mass to moles works? Thanks. Greatly appreciated.

ok so what you do is you take the given grams of your element over 1 then you multiply that by 1 mole over the periodic table weight

so it would look like this

[tex]\frac{given \: grams \:of \: element}{1} \times \frac{1 \: mole}{periodic \: table \: weight} [/tex]
