[tex]m = \frac{y_{2}}{y_{1}}{x_{2} - x_{1}} = \frac{-8 - 4}{-3 - (-2)} = \frac{-12}{-3 + 2} = \frac{-12}{-1} = 12[/tex]

y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)
 y - 4 = 12(x - (-2))
 y - 4 = 12(x + 2)
 y - 4 = 12(x) + 12(2)
 y - 4 = 12x + 24
   + 4             + 4
      y = 12x + 28

The answer is D.
