The only way to answer this is by reading the entire passage line for line. Which line talks bout the past as well as the present? For example, while I knew not starting my essay last week would be a problem for me today, I still didn’t get started. In this example, I have linked the past and the present into the topic of completing my paper. Where do you see that in your passage?
