Explain why counting by tens might be faster than counting by ones

Because when you count by tens you are going 10 20 30 40 50 but with ones in the same time it would be 1 2 3 4 5

Counting in 10s is faster than counting in ones because counting in 10s gets you to larger numbers faster because you are going by larger numbers.
